Who is Bob Dullahan?

Bob Dullahan is an ancient wanderer and one of the few monsters who tried to oppose KOM. The rebellion ended badly: his head and the core it contained were devoured.

What survived is a headless figure obsessed with liberty. Bob recites poems about freedom and calls anyone who does not share his enthusiasm an enemy of it. That mix of tragedy and ridiculous conviction is a good example of the game’s tone—grim events delivered through a character who is hard to take entirely seriously.

Why Bob matters

Bob is one of the few monsters known to have fought back against KOM. That failed rebellion makes him more interesting than a random dungeon obstacle: he is proof that resistance existed before Davy entered the picture, even if KOM literally took the center of his power.

The game has not shown where Davy meets him or whether the encounter is a full boss fight. For now, Bob is best treated as a named enemy to watch rather than a solved matchup.

Preparing for a first encounter

Keep one flexible Style slot instead of entering with two forms that solve the same problem. A named enemy can introduce movement or spacing demands that ordinary dungeon rooms do not. The Style Eat guide explains why coverage matters more than chasing a tier list.

A ranged or crowd-control Body Hack option can protect a first attempt from bad positioning. Use the build framework to identify what your current setup lacks instead of rebuilding every slot for an enemy you have not learned yet.

Finally, watch the attack itself rather than the presentation around it. Stupid Never Dies uses loud effects and exaggerated poses. The Stupid Parry guide explains how to separate a wind-up from the actual incoming hit.

What to watch in the first encounter

When Bob becomes playable, focus on a short list:

  • Where does Bob appear, and can the encounter be skipped?
  • Which attacks can be parried consistently?
  • Does he summon or share the arena with smaller enemies?
  • Which Styles create safe punish windows?
  • Does losing his head affect his reach, targeting or recovery animations?

Current status: Bob’s location, encounter type, weaknesses and rewards have not been revealed.
