FAQ

Is there a physical edition of Stupid Never Dies?
Yes. A PS5 physical edition has been announced. Retailer availability and bonuses vary by country, so check the listing for your region before ordering.
How much does Stupid Never Dies cost?
The announced US digital price is $49.99 for the Standard Edition and $59.99 for the Glorious Idiot Edition. Regional and physical-retailer prices can differ.
Is Stupid Never Dies coming to Xbox or Nintendo Switch?
No Xbox or Nintendo Switch version has been announced. The confirmed launch platforms are PlayStation 5 and PC through Steam.

Is Stupid Never Dies available now?

The game launched on October 21, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and PC through Steam in North America. Japanese material lists October 22 because of the time-zone difference. There is no announced Xbox or Nintendo Switch version.

The free First Bite demo is already available on both launch platforms, and its save can carry into the purchased game.

How much does each edition cost?

Edition US price Included content
Standard $49.99 Base game
Glorious Idiot Edition $59.99 Base game, TickTock Teddies: Nonsense Overload Pack, up to 48 hours of early/advanced access

Prices are the announced US amounts and can differ by region or retailer.

Is there a PS5 physical edition?

Yes. A PlayStation 5 physical release has been announced, but the exact products and retailer bonuses are not identical in every region. Japanese retail listings, for example, include store-specific purchase bonuses. That does not mean the same bonus—or even the same SKU—is available from a US or European retailer.

Before ordering, check three things on the product page: the game region, the supported languages and whether the bonus is physical merchandise or downloadable content. An imported disc should not be treated as interchangeable with a local copy when DLC redemption and account regions are involved.

The official US PlayStation Store currently sells the digital editions. If you specifically want a disc, use a retailer listing that clearly says “physical” rather than assuming the console-store page includes one.

What is in the TickTock Teddies pack?

The pack contains five TickTock Teddies with special presentation effects rather than a new campaign. The PlayStation listing names Big Head, Chirp Chirp, Festival, Romantic and Splash. Their effects alter details such as Davy’s head, footsteps, hit sounds, graffiti and music remixes.

If those cosmetic and audio changes do not matter to you, the Standard Edition includes the same base game. Nothing published so far says the extra pack is required for Style Eat, Body Hack or the main story.

What did the historical early-access offer include?

The pre-launch Glorious Idiot Edition offer included up to 48 hours of early access on PlayStation and advanced access on Steam. The announced start is October 19, 2026, at 10:00 PM UTC. Eligibility is tied to purchasing by October 21 at 9:59 PM UTC, and the publisher notes that timing can change.

The October 19–21 window has passed. Do not buy an edition now expecting to play before an already completed launch. “Up to 48 hours” was the original offer wording. Server, storefront or regional timing can reduce the practical window, so do not buy the upgrade on the assumption that every player receives exactly two full days.

Which bonuses belonged to the pre-order period?

The PlayStation Store pre-order bonus is a set of 11 PSN avatars representing Davy’s Styles. The Glorious Idiot Edition adds the early-access benefit. Steam’s announced premium benefit is the advanced-access window.

These bonuses do not change the advice in the beginner guide or grant a stronger starting build.

Which edition should you buy?

Choose Standard if you only want the game. Choose Glorious Idiot if the Teddy effects appeal to you or if its currently listed extras justify the price difference. The build system is part of the base game, not a deluxe-only feature.

The October 27 status check uses SEGA’s October 22 launch announcement. The prices above remain the previously announced US reference prices; they are not a current checkout quote for every region.
